Vadim Snegirev, head of the civil defense and population protection department of the Sochi administration, spoke about further actions in relation to the site .
“The city administration has engaged a specialized licensed organization that will conduct a geological examination and make an opinion on the possibility or impossibility of further use of this site for any purpose,” said Vadim Snegirev.
According to him, the main measures to eliminate the emergency have already been practically completed.
“We managed to make a temporary entrance to the village, which allowed us to quickly evacuate the vehicles of the affected residents of the village and subsequently take out all things and personal property,” he said.
At the moment, almost everything has been taken out, the residents have left the territory of the village. Work continues on Novoshkolnaya Street, 15. The house at this address suffered the most. It was practically destroyed and went underground, but from there it is necessary to pick up the documents that the owner needs to receive social assistance.
Recall, on October 5, a large landslide destroyed Novoskolnaya Street in the Sochi village of Sergei-Pole. The houses, along with the foundations, shifted along the course of the ground movement. In addition, the supports of gas pipes and power lines bent. The landslide damaged 22 private houses.
More than 70 people live in houses in the disaster zone, all of whom have left their homes.
Residents of the village will be paid 10 thousand rubles, as well as 50 thousand rubles for partial and 100 thousand rubles for the complete loss of movable property to each registered in houses located in the emergency zone.
