The project of the largest cancer center in the South of Russia received a positive conclusion of the state expert examination

The oncological center will become the first facility of the medical cluster to appear in the village of Znamenskoye at the initiative of Governor Veniamin Kondratyev. The oncology center will consist of 14 main blocks up to 6 floors and a total area of ​​about 200 thousand square meters. On October 8, the project received a positive conclusion from the state examination. - The modern medical complex in the village of Znamenskoye will have an advisory clinic for 750 visits per shift, a hospital for 1165 beds, round-the-clock hospital departments for 1005 beds and day hospitals for 160 beds, - said Andrey Alekseenko . The vice-governor added that the new institution will include oncosurgery, chemotherapy, oncohematological and radiological centers. - This will completely cover the need of the residents of the region for these vital services, - concluded Alekseenko. A hospital and an ambulance station, a regional infectious diseases hospital, a children's infectious diseases hospital and a perinatal center will also be erected on the territory of the medical cluster, the press service of the regional administration reports. Earlier, the head of the region, Veniamin Kondratyev, instructed to ensure transport accessibility and sufficient energy capacity for the facility. Recall that it is planned to attract investors to the creation of a new cancer center. - The cost of building a new cancer center is estimated at billions of rubles. This is a lot of money for the region, and it is important for us to participate, including business. The region provides the facility with infrastructure, and investors invest in the construction of buildings and equipment, the governor said earlier.
