More than 57 thousand residents of the Krasnodar Territory underwent revaccination against coronavirus

It is carried out in all vaccination centers in the region.

Doctors recommend revaccination after six months, not only for those who have already completed the first vaccination course, but also for those who have recovered from the coronavirus. - Today in the region we are actively conducting a campaign to vaccinate the population against coronavirus infection. But do not forget that antibodies to the virus disappear after a while. That is why it is necessary to revaccinate in time. This will protect our body from possible new strains of COVID-19 and an outbreak of the disease in the region. More than 57 thousand residents of the Kuban have already undergone revaccination against coronavirus. For this, the one-component "Sputnik Light" is used more often. We have enough of it - over 158 thousand doses. According to researchers, its effectiveness is almost 80%, - said the Minister of Health of the Krasnodar Territory Yevgeny Filippov. You can also revaccinate with other registered drugs - "Sputnik V", "EpiVacCorona" and "KoviVac". In this case, it is not necessary to be tested for antibodies. Contraindications are:
  • severe allergy to components of the coronavirus vaccine,

  • a severe allergic reaction to an already vaccinated vaccine,

  • age up to 18 years,

  • the period of breastfeeding in women.

Temporary contraindications include ARVI and exacerbation of chronic diseases. Vaccination centers operate in all cities and regions of the Kuban. Their list is available on the website of the regional Ministry of Health. You can find out where the waiting queue is smaller and how much vaccine is available in each of the points using the chatbot in Telegram @ vac23_bot and on the vaccinezdes.rf website , the press service of the Krasnodar Territory Administration recalls. Recall that the Krasnodar Territory is among the leaders in the country in terms of the rate of vaccination against coronavirus - more than 2 million people have already been vaccinated . For the formation of collective immunity, at least 3.6 million adult residents of the Kuban must be vaccinated. As reported by "Kubanskie Novosti", in the Krasnodar Territory, with a high degree of probability, in the near future, QR codes may be introduced to visit cafes, gyms, theaters and cinema due to the worsening situation with the coronavirus. - This measure will affect visits to shopping and entertainment centers, hypermarkets, cafes, restaurants, sports, cultural and other institutions. It will be impossible to get into them without presenting a special QR code indicating the passage of vaccination against COVID-19 or confirmation of the transferred disease, '' said a source in the regional administration. The current wave of COVID-19 will be the most severe in the country , the situation with the incidence will stabilize only by mid-December. - The fourth or fifth wave, which will be in any case, we will most likely survive in a more or less, probably, mild form. There will be fewer severe cases. There will be many cases, but there will be fewer severe cases with each wave. The most difficult will be this wave, which will stretch for six months. This is the third wave, it is still underway, it began in June and continues, ”said the chief physician of the Leader-Medicine medical center, pediatric infectious disease specialist Yevgeny Timakov. The Ministry of Health announced the disguise of the coronavirus as other diseases. The delta coronavirus strain began to disguise itself as seasonal viral infections, which influenced the change in symptoms, said Sergey Tokarev , chief freelance specialist of the Ministry of Health for medical prevention in the Ural Federal District (UFO) .
