Forecasters predict that by the evening of October 5, the wind in the city will increase - its gusts can reach 32 meters per second.
Residents need to limit walks with children in adverse weather conditions, to secure their transport. In strong winds, it is especially dangerous to be under the power transmission towers and park cars under them. Also, old, unstable trees pose a danger to residents during such weather conditions.
Earlier, "Kubanskie Novosti" reported that in the village of Sergei-Pole, Lazarevsky district of Sochi, a landslide destroyed a road. Due to the volley rains, the ground moved. As a result, 20 residential buildings and a road section in a cottage village on Novoskolnaya Street were displaced. The houses, along with the foundations, shifted along the course of the ground movement. Of the 20 damaged houses, 8 are inhabited. 30 people were evacuated, including 10 children.

On October 4, a video of a sinking yacht appeared in city publics. An eyewitness said that the incident occurred on the territory of a local yacht club. According to local residents, the storm in Novorossiysk continues for several days. In turn, the Southern Transport Prosecutor's Office published a press release on the organization of an inspection on the fact of the sinking of the yacht in the Black Sea. The document indicates that the incident happened on October 3 at about 20.00 in the area of the berth of the yacht club "Seven-feet". At the same time, the footage of the video, which was published on October 4, shows that the yacht sank earlier - during daylight hours.
