The fact that it is necessary to more actively vaccinate the residents of the region for the formation of collective immunity, said the vice-governor of the Krasnodar Territory Anna Minkova.

- Unfortunately, the situation with the coronavirus is not getting any better. Today, a number of regions show an increase in the incidence. We have reached mortality parameters that were not previously possible. We see an increase in the level of hospitalizations per day, which is the main indicator for us, - said Anna Minkova at a meeting of the trilateral commission on the regulation of social and labor relations.
The deputy head of the region noted that in order to achieve collective immunity in the region, 3.6 million people need to be vaccinated. To date, just over 2 million residents have been vaccinated.
- Employers and trade unions should be helpers of the state in solving this critical issue. I ask you to assist in organizing the vaccination of labor collectives, we see a reserve here, - Anna Minkova addressed the participants.
The vice-governor added that the Russian vaccines have proven their effectiveness, and in many respects the pace of the vaccination campaign will depend on whether the restrictive measures in the Krasnodar Territory will have to be tightened.
Kuban received a total of over 2.7 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine. Today you can get vaccinated free of charge at 332 vaccination points around the region. Also in the region, the immunization of adults and children against influenza, which is especially dangerous during a pandemic, continues, the press service of the regional administration reports.
As Kubanskie Novosti previously reported, in the Krasnodar Territory, with a high degree of probability, QR codes may be introduced for visiting cafes, gyms, theaters and cinema in the near future due to the worsening situation with the coronavirus.
- This measure will affect visits to shopping and entertainment centers, hypermarkets, cafes, restaurants, sports, cultural and other institutions. It will be impossible to get into them without presenting a special QR code indicating the passage of vaccination against COVID-19 or confirmation of the transferred disease, '' said a source in the regional administration.
