A memorial plaque to Galina Doroshenko will be opened in Krasnodar
The festive event will take place on October 3.

Galina Doroshenko made a significant contribution to the development of the social protection service for the region's population. She was always sensitive and attentive to the problem of each person who asked for help.
Galina Doroshenko died on October 3, 2020 at the age of 73 after a long illness.
Galina Doroshenko from 1991 to 2001 headed the regional department of social protection, then became the deputy head of the Krasnodar Territory administration for education, culture, health care and social protection.
In 2003 she was elected a deputy of the State Duma of the fourth convocation, where she became the first deputy chairman of the Committee on Nationalities. From 2008 to 2015, she worked as the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Krasnodar Territory.
Galina Doroshenko was awarded the Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, as well as the Medal For Outstanding Contribution to the Development of the Kuban, 1st degree.
