Russian schools are not going to be massively quarantined

The head of the Ministry of Education Sergei Kravtsov answered the question about the closure of educational institutions due to COVID-19. Today, less than 0.1% of Russian schools are in quarantine, and there are no plans to introduce a lockdown. This was stated by the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergei Kravtsov , his words are quoted by RIA Novosti .
“We have less than 0.1% of the total number of schools, for one reason or another, in quarantine. We do not envisage the closure of schools, only if absolutely necessary, if objectively there is a situation. We do not expect any kind of closure or massive lockdown, ”Kravtsov said at a meeting with journalists. Earlier, "Kubanskie Novosti" reported that another 226 people fell ill with coronavirus in the Kuban over the past day. COVID-19 was confirmed in 140 women and 86 men under the age of 93. Including, 25 children were infected. Over the entire period, 74,585 cases of COVID-19 infection were registered in the Krasnodar Territory, including 4,948 among children. The incidence rate per 100 thousand of the population is 1312.2. According to the regional health ministry, as of October 3, 54,058 patients were discharged with recovery, of which 162 were discharged in the last 24 hours. 6,319 people have died. 79 patients are in serious condition on mechanical ventilation, five on ECMO. In hospitals, 3,209 residents are being treated, 10,999 at home.
